What is Dailymotion?

Dailymotion is a video-sharing website that allows users to browse, share and upload videos. It’s a French company owned by the mass media conglomerate Vivendi. Dailymotion is very similar to YouTube, but the focus of its content is slightly different. YouTube is primarily powered by user-generated content, and Dailymotion has more professionally-produced content.

Live streaming on Dailymotion

You can live stream on Dailymotion if you have a paid plan and use an encoding software like OBS Studio or Restream Studio. Once your live events are over, other Dailymotion users can watch them as videos on demand (VODs) on your Dailymotion profile.
