Amazon Live

What is Amazon Live?

Amazon Live is a live streaming platform that allows sellers, brands and influencers to showcase products via live video. The goal of Amazon Live is to help sellers engage with their audiences by providing live demonstrations, answering real-time questions and highlighting the best features of their products.

How does Amazon Live streaming work?

Amazon Live streams can show up on the Amazon homepage, in the “Amazon Live” section of the website, or on a seller’s or influencer’s storefront. All the products featured in an Amazon Live stream will appear in a product carousel at the bottom of the stream. Viewers can scroll these items and when they click on one, it opens the product’s page on Amazon.

While the broadcast on Amazon is live, viewers can send messages to the host via the live chat. They can ask questions about the product, ask for a demo or share their thoughts. Amazon Live has been likened to TV home shopping channels, but the live chat feature makes Amazon Live streams more dynamic and engaging than home shopping broadcasts.
