You can stream a Zoom meeting or webinar to Facebook by connecting Zoom to your Facebook account directly or by using a custom streaming destination. You can either use Zoom’s native live streaming feature, which requires a paid Zoom account, or live stream with a basic Zoom account using OBS Studio and Restream.

Stream Zoom to Facebook

Before you can stream your Zoom meeting to Facebook Live, you must enable live streaming, which requires a paid Zoom account.

  1. Sign in to your Zoom account and click Settings.
  2. Click the Meeting tab, then click In Meeting (Advanced).
  3. Enable Allow livestreaming of meetings.
  4. Check the box for Facebook from the platform options.
  5. Click Save.

To start streaming your Zoom meeting or webinar on Facebook, you first need to start your webinar or meeting.

  1. On the bottom panel containing all the meeting/webinar controls, click More.
  2. Click Live on Facebook and then sign in to your Facebook account in the new browser window that opens. [Note that Zoom does not work with the newest Facebook Live Producer, so if you see a message prompting you to switch to the Live API, ignore it.]
  3. Choose where you want to stream on Facebook (profile, page, group, etc.)
  4. Click Next.
  5. Wait for Facebook to load the live stream and click Go Live on Facebook.
