If you have a Mac, you can live stream to Twitch using encoding software such as OBS Studio or Streamlabs OBS. Both are compatible with macOS. Mac users can also try Twitch Studio, which is currently in beta.

The setup for OBS Studio is largely the same for Windows as it is for Mac. You will need to add your webcam and mic as sources, as well as adding Twitch as a streaming service. You can also create scenes in OBS to further customize your stream.

For a browser-based streaming solution, you can use Restream Studio instead of downloading OBS. Go live directly from your Chrome, Firefox, or Safari browser by connecting your Twitch channel to Restream and launching our Live Studio in a matter of minutes.

Restream Studio is easy to use and comes packed with features to help you produce a professional live stream. Invite guests to your stream, share your screen, add custom graphics and overlays, use animated transitions and stream screens, and display chat messages from Twitch and your other streaming destinations. Restream Studio also centralizes live chats from each platform you’re broadcasting to, so you can see messages from Twitch, Facebook, and YouTube, all in one place in your Restream Studio dashboard.
