Twitter lets you schedule live streams in advance so you can let your followers know you plan to go live ahead of time. When you schedule a Twitter live stream, your broadcast will automatically start at the time and date you set. However, note that only Twitter users with access to Media Studio may schedule live streams; it’s not possible to schedule a live stream for later on mobile.
- Log into your Twitter account.
- Click “More” on your home page, then click “Media Studio.”
- You’ll be taken to your library, where you can see all the media you’ve uploaded to Twitter.
- Click the “Producer” tab at the top.
- Click “Create Broadcast” in the top right corner to start a new live video.
- Give your broadcast a name and add a category.
- Under the “Source” pull-down menu, select “Create a New Source.” Give your source a name and select your region.
- Click “Create.”
- Under “Schedule” select the “Start later” option and set a date and time for your Twitter live stream.
- Upload an image to display when you Tweet the link to your upcoming broadcast.
- Click “Create broadcast” and tweet a link to your broadcast to promote it.
- Your live video will start automatically at the date and time you’ve set.
